In the car waiting for my daughter Erin to finish piano lessons:
Colin: “I’m really not looking forward to 2016.”
Me: “Really? Why not?”
Colin: “Because that’s the year Erin officially becomes a teenager.”
Well shit. I hadn’t thought of that. Now I’m not looking forward to 2016 either.

Yeah, you def don’t wanna go there. My daughter just turned 13 yesterday (but, really, she’s been a pain in the ass since in utero).
